Summary
At the crux of Manual‘s ethos is the brand’s roots in the local New York City creative community. For its latest release, the photography lifestyle label is reminding us of these unwavering roots, delivering a new digital camera model curated to best serve its core audience.
Dubbed the “HOLO” digicam, Manual’s latest Y2K-inspired offering is fully transparent, encased in a compact, clear shell, yet equipped with all of the necessary functionality tools for high-resolution – 50MP, to be specific – content capturing.
Capable of both photo and video capture, HOLO features a built-in flash, 16x digital zoom, and anti-shake technology.
“We built HOLO as a tool for play, where imperfection becomes the art,” explained Manual’s founder and Creative Director, Malcolm Dia. “These cameras are made to be passed between friends, creating a shared archive of nights, weekends, and memories that actually feel real.”
Complete with 32 gigabytes of built-in memory, HOLO is chargeable via USB-C, and also comes with an SD card reader for phone and laptop transfer.
