This year, Passover runs from the evening of Saturday, April 12 through Sunday, April 20. Restaurants across Las Vegas carry menu items that are just right for supplementing seder or for noshing in celebration of the eight-day holiday. While traditional Passover dishes can be found in this guide, check whether they meet your needs as kosher for Passover. Also note that some kosher restaurants in town are closed during the week of Passover.

The Bagel Cafe

The Bagel Cafe is a beloved Jewish deli for its namesake bagels, matzoh ball soup, and piled-high sandwiches. The restaurant cooks up entire spreads that are just right for seder. Place a pre-order (702-255-3444) by April 10 for to-go dinners of an appetizer of gefilte fish, chopped liver, or fruit salad; an entree of whole roast chicken or brisket and gravy; plus matzoh ball soup, fresh vegetables, potato pancakes, matzoh crackers, gravy, and vanilla macaroons. It’s $60 for two people. For larger groups or to supplement home cooking, apple cake, macaroons, stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, matzoh kugel, charoset, and other staples are available for pre-order.
Market Place Buffet

Let everyone get exactly what they want by opting for a buffet of traditional Jewish foods. The Market Place Buffet at the Rampart Casino will host a special Passover buffet on Saturday, April 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. The buffet will be available for $33.99 for adults ($28.99 with Rampart Plus Card) and $22.99 for children 12 and under. More than 20 specialty dishes for the Passover buffet will include matzoh ball soup, braised brisket, baked salmon, noodle kugel, tzimmes potato knishes, gefilte fish, pickled herring, cheese blintzes, black and white cookies, and macaroons. Regular buffet dishes like those of prime rib, shellfish, and an expansive dessert counter will also be available.

The Jewish deli near the Las Vegas Convention Center will have pick-up orders available from April 12 through April 20. Individual meals are $34.95 and include a choice of gefilte fish or chopped liver, an entree of roasted chicken with matzo stuffing or brisket with gravy, potato latkes or roasted potatoes, green beans or carrot tzimmes, plus matzo, charoset, matzo ball soup, and desserts. A family meal of the same options is $329.95 and feeds eight to 10 people. A la carte ordering is available for chocolate-dipped matzoh, flourless chocolate cake, and extra servings of dishes from the prix fixe meals.
Fisher’s Deli

This Henderson deli will serve take-out meals of all the Passover fixings starting on Friday, April 11. Each meal includes salad or soup — like sweet and sour cabbage or matzoh ball, chopped liver, a choice of chicken or brisket, plus side dishes of potatoes and vegetables, and macaroons for dessert. The meal is $27.95 per person.
