The return of Absynth 6 marks a new chapter for one of electronic music’s most storied synthesizers. To celebrate its launch, we’ve teamed up with legendary digital artist Weirdcore – known for his surreal, glitch-heavy work with Aphex Twin, Arca, and Charli XCX – to create a series of custom visualizers.
The first artist to dive into this liminal world of degraded urban landscapes and off-kilter AI is Australian DJ and producer HAAi, who used the synth’s hybrid engine to craft a track exploring the euphoric calm of her recent album, HUMANiSE.
Listen to HAAi’s track and learn how HAAi used Absynth 6 to build immersive, textural atmospheres.

For this project, HAAi wanted to lean into the limitless options for layered sound design to create a deep, textural atmosphere. She found that the sounds within the synth “talk to each other so nicely,” allowing her to translate a feeling of calmness through pure exploration.
What struck her most was the incredible depth available for building and modifying patches, noting that the sound quality and internal connectivity make the synth feel like an infinite world.
She also highlighted the new visualizer as a standout feature, describing the experience as a journey where you can explore forever and never end up with the same result twice.
Whether you’re looking to create lush, evolving atmospheres like HAAi or want to dive into the deep end of FM and granular synthesis, Absynth 6 is designed to help you find new ideas fast. With its new Preset Explorer, you can navigate the vast library of sounds by their timbral qualities, making it easier than ever to turn “happy accidents” into finished tracks.
