Hulu has officially dropped the first teaser for the Malcolm in the Middle reboot/miniseries, Life’s Still Unfair.

The 40-second visual offers a first look at the family after almost 20 years. Life’s Still Unfair will pick up during Hal and Lois’ 40th anniversary, which forces Malcolm — who is now a father to a teenage daughter — to reconnect with his family after “shielding himself” from them for more than 10 years.

The miniseries will see most of the family reprise their roles: Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, Bryan Cranston as Hal, Jane Kaczmarek as Lois, Justin Berfield as Reese and Chris Masterson as Francis. Dewey, who was portrayed by Erik Per Sullivan in the original series, will now be played by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark.

Watch the teaser above. Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair premieres April 10, 2026 on Hulu/Disney+.
