Efi Cruise – “Blue Collar”

Nigerian singer/songwriter Efi Cruise delivers a brilliant tune, “Blue Collar” where he pays homage to the everyday man that drives our economies and shapes our world behind the scenes. Efi Cruise paints a vivid picture of the struggles and triumphs of the blue-collar workforce, capturing their unwavering determination and the pride they take in their craft. Over a smooth bouncy backdrop, he delivers expressive melodic runs underpinned by engaging and heartfelt songwriting.

The Foo Birds – “Cry”.

UK-based vocal-led 5-piece nu-soul / RnB band The Foo Birds caught our attention with their new single “Cry.” Written by vocalist Kate and guitarist Dan, the track pays tribute to Bill Withers’s classic song of the same name. Production-wise, it weaves soulful vibes with smooth grooves and lyrical nods to the original, with lead singer Kate delivering a soul-lifting vocal performance.

“Cry” is part of an upcoming EP; the track will be hitting UK venues soon as the band hits the road.

Catpack x MIA GLADSTONE – “Next To Me (MIA GLADSTONE Remix)”.

Catpack and producer MIA GLADSTONE deliver “Next To Me (MIA GLADSTONE Remix)” to our ears. This new version is a sublime and soul-sirring piece that blends lofi-soul with modern R&B vibes. From the smooth and warm pads,lush textures, punchy drum grooves and layered melodic performances, listeners will surely love the entire vibe. This is the remix to “Next To Me,” the focus track of their self-titled album.

MC Paul Barman – “Concentrate”

MC Paul Barman‘s “Concentrate” is a reflective track underpinned by the veteran rapper’s charismatic demeanour, off-beat rapping and multi-layered songwriting that weaves relatable themes with extensive references and nonconforming rhyme schemes. The track is taken from his new album, Tectonic Texts.

The Lost Arts – “Slow Down”.

The Lost Arts is a music/creative collective whose new single is “Slow Down.” The R&B/rap tune brings together Jimmy Valentine and losLAUREN718, and they deliver a smooth performance ripe with heartfelt lyrics bout true love and the search for that special someone who completes one’s life.

Thirstin Howl The 3rd x young hump – “Ultra Ill Magnetic Street”

LoLife pioneer and self acclaimed general Thirstin Howl The 3rd and young hump team up for this tribute jam “Ultra Ill Magnetic Street.” The track is a homage to two legendary hip-hop entities: Ultramagnetic MC’s and Kool G Rap. Enlisting Digital Underground’s Young Hump Thirstin channels both Ultramagnetic’s Kool Keith and Kool G’s cadence and style while incorporating his personality on the track. Young Hump doesn’t stray far and adds his expressive flow to the track. This track will appear on the forthcoming LP entitled The Last Shall be Thirst to drop this June. A full music video for this track will also drop on March 18, 2025, via YouTube.

Slick Da Sniper – “Spazz Out”

Slick Da Sniper goes for the jugular in his new single “Spazz Out,” a dark ominous piece that is punctuated by no-holds-barred lyrics.

Miss Rek – “Find Joy”.

Miss Rek reminds us to “Find Joy” with intention. The R&B/rap infused tune blends smooth melodic runs and insightful lyricism that we all need right now.

Joznez x Kataem x Mr. Herms – “The Pace”.

“The Pace” is an anthemic track from Joznez, Kataem and Mr. Herms who bring fast-paced flows underpinned by uplifting and aspirational themes over pounding dynamic drums and cinematic textures.

Sammyoffthewall – “Fuera De La Pared”.

Sammyoffthewall set things with “Fuera De La Pared,” which is the intro to his new EP Fuera De La Pared.  The track is a dynamic piece that showcases Sammyoffthewall’s lyricism as he flows effortlessly over a cinematic soundscape.

“Barsmen X Barswomen” is the ultimate Canadian rap cipher for 2025, which is brought to us by the one and only Dan-e-o. The pioneer brings together the best of the best, ranging from LotusJames, Sonny Hendrixx, D-Sisive, Eternia, Keysha Freshh, pHoenix Pagliacci, Quake Matthews, Grimace Love and J Shiltz to join the fray with hard-hitting bars over a menacing and pounding soundscape.

Troyman – “Lord, Forgive Me”

Troyman drops a handful of gems in his new release, “Lord, Forgive Me,” a heartfelt tune that explores gratitude, reflection, and the path to redemption. The track is taken from his new EP FCPO ( For content Purposes Only).

James Gardin – “Shake It”

Rapper/producer Muggsy Malone returns to our site with his latest offering, “Living Like It Ain’t No Tomorrow.” The self-produced track samples a classic soul song and flips it into an upbeat soundscape with vocal chops, cinematic textures and rousing drums. Here, Mugsy Malone embodies the spirit of a champion who seizes the day. The track is inspired by the classic Rocky movie scene where the late Carl Weathers and legendary actor Sly Stallone were sparring together in California.
