2wice Great reminds us of what true “Pain” is in his new single. The dark, moody soundscape sees him and The esoteric astronaut talking about pain and how it can leave permanent scars, but ultimately, it’s up to us to deal with the aftermath.
Nigerian singer/songwriter Efi Cruise delivers a brilliant tune, “Blue Collar” where he pays homage to the everyday man that drives our economies and shapes our world behind the scenes. UK-based vocal-led 5-piece nu-soul / RnB band The Foo Birds caught our attention with their new single “Cry.” Written by vocalist Kate and guitarist Dan, the track pays tribute to Bill Withers’s classic song of the same name. Production-wise, it weaves soulful vibes with smooth grooves and lyrical nods to the original, with lead singer Kate delivering a soul-lifting vocal performance.
“Cry” is part of an upcoming EP; the track will be hitting UK venues soon as the band hits the road.
Catpack and producer MIA GLADSTONE deliver “Next To Me (MIA GLADSTONE Remix)” to our ears. This new version is a sublime and soul-sirring piece that blends lofi-soul with modern R&B vibes. From the smooth and warm pads,lush textures, punchy drum grooves and layered melodic performances, listeners will surely love the entire vibe. This is the remix to “Next To Me,” the focus track of their self-titled album.

MC Paul Barman‘s “Concentrate” is a reflective track underpinned by the veteran rapper’s charismatic demeanour, off-beat rapping and multi-layered songwriting that weaves relatable themes with extensive references and nonconforming rhyme schemes. The track is taken from his new album, Tectonic Texts.
The Lost Arts is a music/creative collective whose new single is “Slow Down.” The R&B/rap tune brings together Jimmy Valentine and losLAUREN718, and they deliver a smooth performance ripe with heartfelt lyrics bout true love and the search for that special someone who completes one’s life.
LoLife pioneer and self acclaimed general Thirstin Howl The 3rd and young hump team up for this tribute jam “Ultra Ill Magnetic Street.” The track is a homage to two legendary hip-hop entities: Ultramagnetic MC’s and Kool G Rap. Enlisting Digital Underground’s Young Hump Thirstin channels both Ultramagnetic’s Kool Keith and Kool G’s cadence and style while incorporating his personality on the track. Young Hump doesn’t stray far and adds his expressive flow to the track. This track will appear on the forthcoming LP entitled The Last Shall be Thirst to drop this June. A full music video for this track will also drop on March 18, 2025, via YouTube.
