Uprising Indiana-based alternative hip-hop artist 4200Kory returns to our playlist with “Cobra Son,” a profound track that details his life’s journey in this cold world. Backed by a mid-tempo soul/jazz infused backdrop brimming with solemn keys and haunting vocals, 4200Kory takes us deep into his world and we get to feel his pain through his words.

Marcus Coates – “Built Different”.

Chinese rapper Doubleyoc caught our ears with his new release “Danger Rollie.” The track has a late 90s R&B/hiphop infused vibe and showcases the rapper’s vivid story telling that is adulation filled and heartfelt. His use of Mandarin and English is seamless and he moves effortlessly between the two languages.

m1L x iNTELLECT – “Close Call”.

“Close Call” is the new single from m1L and iNTELLECT  who trade bars over a hard-hitting track that oozes urgency. Backed by the scenic guitar-laden backdrop, the emcees share their experiences as they traverse the mean streets where survival is everything.

King Royal – “Falling Rain”

Inland Empire, CA-raised King Royal enters our playlist with the anthemic single “Falling Rain.” The track is a blend of street savvy tales and inisghtful bars that explores self respect and integrity in a cold world.

Lion Luciano – “Hold a Medi”

Edmonton-based hip-hop artist Lion Luciano links with fellow artist Ben E Brix  on his new single “Hold a Medi.” The track is bolsterd by a hypnotic soundscape with downtempo drums and sees the emcees delivering fiery melody-laced flows with some catchy aesthetics.

Chepps – “Ride By”

Chepps enters our playlist with “Ride By,” a cinematic track that is underpinned by a vivid story telling about how life can change in an instant.

Glane x – “Silencer”

Glane x‘s latest release “Silencer” is an insightful and reflective piece that explores how decisions can make or break one if care is not taken. The production has a solemn energy and Galne X’s vivid stoyr telling is engaging from start to finish.

T. Witz – “When Everybody Dies”.

East London’s own multi-hyphenate artist and rapper Kojey Radical connects with Canadian production crew Planet Giza for “Expensive.” The genre-bending track has elements of future soul, dance and funk laced with hip-hop aesthetics and sees Kojey Radical in his element as he flows effortlessly over the smooth soundscape. The track is taken from his forthcoming album ,Don’t Look Down”.

Emerging artist Mang make shis debut on our playlist with “Don’t Leave.” The track produced by William Binderup is an atmospheric, dreamy future-soul tune that explores emotions and yearning for that special someone.

Planky x Harry Shotta x Genesis Elijah x Backsy – “One Life, One Soul”.

UK producer, Planky connects with Harry Shotta , Genesis Elijah and Backsy for “One Life, One Soul.” The track is a soulful piece that talks about growth, chaging life perspectives and the eternal message of staying true to one’s purpose.

Jaye Rsvd – “Pieces of Me”

Here, he delivers a laidback performance ripe with insightful bars about self-belief and making a way out of nothing. The track is taken from his new project THE VV TAPE 2 4 REAL.

Bajune Tobeta – “Let’s Stay Together”

Japanese singer/songwriter Bajune Tobeta‘s take on Al Green’s  “Let’s Stay Together” is a refreshingly different tune. The production is a mix of R&B/future soul , plucky Amapiano and dance grooves. His vocal runs are expressive and he carries the track effortlessly.

Parris LaVon – “FREE”

Southern MD rapper/songwriter Parris LaVon‘s “FREE” is a mid-tempo and somewhat reflective track that explores the transition from a dark past to a brighter future. Over a scenic and somewhat moody backdrop, LaVon delivers his story in a fusion of rap and melody laced with vivid storytelling that grips the listeners from start to finish.
