Emerging rapper/songwriter Maxx Wright shares “Cycles,” a tack taken from his debut album, The Best Is Yet To Come... Backed by a mellow soulful soundscape brimming with moody keys, lush guitar licks and a soft drum groove, Maxx Wright takes auidneces through the cycles and phases of life. From loss, regret and the growing pains that come with early adulthood, he gives listners a vivid glimpse into his world and how far he has come.
Pavy‘s “Another Chicago Girl” is a heartfelt piece about a past flame and the memories they created over time. From their first meeting to the first touch, Pavy details how time moves fast when you’re having fun.
Dotta The Dealer delivers this insightful track “Too Exhilarating” which sees him in his element. Over a soulful vocal sample backdrop, he takes us through the ups and downs of life. From past mistakes, close shaves to finding success on his own terms, there is so much to unpack from the young man. Fellow artist Jovi joins him on the track as well.

Skyler Reed caught our ears with her latest effort titled “Boomerang.” The track is a bouncy R&B track that is anchored on a rich vocal performance and unapologetic songwriting that explores tug and pull in a relationship.
LaaDuhGoat embraces life changes in “Graduation,” a mid-tempo single that showcases his expressive flow and his blend of reflective and stream-of-consciousness raps.
Supreme Allah delivers a scathing track on his new single “The Open Letter.” Over a soulful backdrop, he explores the racial history of the USA and the underhanded politics that reshaped the lives of minorities in adverse ways. Nothing is spared on this track so be prepared to get enlightened.
Fly-nt (Flint Michigan)-based artist Welfed steps into the forefront with “Loose Cigarett,” a smooth lo-fi hip-hop track anchored on soulful samples and raw off-kilter raps.

Philip The Artist drops this anthemic tune “We In ATL” on this week’s playlist. This is a no-holds-barred verbal flexing track with a catchy hook.
Big Chris is in his element in “Get Man Lost,” a dark cinematic bravado-laden track that showcases raw flows over hard-hitting beats.
Sunny Daze brings a different vibe to our playlist with “Cake,” a bouncy bass-heavy melodic trap track that is catchy and also filled with gems.
Elan Brio enters our playlist with “Perfect Timing,” a reflective tune that talks about the ups and downs of life, betrayal and fate. It’s an interesting piece that showcases unfiltered rapping with relatable themes.
Lanz Pierce is a multi-faceted artist whose works traverses music, films and business. From directing music videos, short films to setting up tech businesses and rapping, she is pulling strings and getting things done but nevertheless she gifts us with her new single “GET IT.” The track has a solemn vibe with a mellow drum groove underpinned by Pierce’s smooth , unassuming flow and insightful lyrics that focus on gender dynamics in the industry and life as well. She acknowledges the way the system is but that doesn’t deter her for reaching her dreams.

Bullet Brak and Sticky Fingaz go for the jugular with this no-holds-barred fiery track titled “Be Eazy.” The result is a verbal onslaught from the emcees who take no prisoners and are leaving the scene with decimated bodies.
