Pavy‘s “Another Chicago Girl” is a heartfelt piece about a past flame and the memories they created over time. From their first meeting to the first touch, Pavy details how time moves fast when you’re having fun.

Dotta The Dealer – “Too Exhilarating” (feat. Jovi)

Dotta The Dealer delivers this insightful track “Too Exhilarating” which sees him in his element. Over a soulful vocal sample backdrop, he takes us through the ups and downs of life. From past mistakes, close shaves to finding success on his own terms, there is so much to unpack from the young man.  Fellow artist Jovi joins him on the track as well.

Nicki Knightz – “Cold Nights in East”

Nicki Knightz returns to the fore with “Cold Nights in East,” a smooth heartfelt track brimming with sublime and moody textures. This set the stage for her insightful and introspective bars that center on her childhood and the growing pains that made her who she is today.

Brandon Mitchell is all about action and results in his new single “What We Doin” featuring Bussy B. The track has a classic Bay Area bounce and vibe and is underpinned by his laidback, unassuming flow and playful lyrics that shows his distinct character.

Chadio x The Gumshoe Strut – “Flow State”

“Flow State” is the latest release from Kamloops-based  rapper Chadio and producer The Gumshoe Strut. The production has a sombre vibe and is filled with enggaing stroytelling and themes of self-reflection and growth.

D Young – “Pullin’ Up”.

D Young breaks from the norm with “Pullin’ Up,” a reflective track that explores his tumultous upbringing and his resilience.

Luna Grey – “everyday”.

Singer/songwriter Luna Grey delivers this R&B/hip-hop infused track “everyday” for us to rock to. Over a punchy soundscape brimming with lush cinematic guitar riffs and scenic strings, she embodies the spirit of a woman who knows what she wants and deserves and is taking nothing less than that.

Skyler Reed – “Boomerang”

Skyler Reed caught our ears with her latest effort titled “Boomerang.” The track is a bouncy R&B track that is anchored on a rich vocal performance and unapologetic songwriting that explores tug and pull in a relationship.

LaaDuhGoat – “Graduation”

LaaDuhGoat embraces life changes in “Graduation,” a mid-tempo single that showcases his expressive flow and his blend of reflective and stream-of-consciousness raps.

Supreme Allah – “The Open Letter”

Supreme Allah delivers a scathing track on his new single “The Open Letter.” Over a soulful backdrop, he explores the racial history of the USA and the underhanded politics that reshaped the lives of minorities in adverse ways. Nothing is spared on this track so be prepared to get enlightened.

Welfed – “Loose Cigarett”.

Fly-nt (Flint Michigan)-based artist Welfed steps into the forefront with “Loose Cigarett,” a smooth lo-fi hip-hop track anchored on soulful samples and raw off-kilter raps.

St.Bedlam – “Nightshade”

“Nightshade” is a profound and thought-provoking track from St.Bedlam who goes for the jugular with unapologetic lyricism and a distinctive voice and flow that is refreshing and commanding.

Philip The Artist – “We In ATL”

Philip The Artist drops this anthemic tune “We In ATL” on this week’s playlist. This is a no-holds-barred verbal flexing track with a catchy hook.

Big Chris – “Get Man Lost”

Big Chris is in his element in “Get Man Lost,” a dark cinematic bravado-laden track that showcases raw flows over hard-hitting beats.

Sunny Daze – “Cake”

Sunny Daze brings a different vibe to our playlist with “Cake,” a bouncy bass-heavy melodic trap track that is catchy and also filled with gems.

Elan Brio – “Perfect Timing”

Elan Brio enters our playlist with “Perfect Timing,” a reflective tune that talks about the ups and downs of life, betrayal and fate. It’s an interesting piece that showcases unfiltered rapping with relatable themes.

Lanz Pierce – “GET IT”

Lanz Pierce is a multi-faceted artist whose works traverses music, films and business. From directing music videos, short films to setting up tech businesses and rapping, she is pulling strings and getting things done but nevertheless she gifts us with her new single “GET IT.” The track has a solemn vibe with a mellow drum groove underpinned by Pierce’s smooth , unassuming flow and insightful lyrics that focus on gender dynamics in the industry and life as well. She acknowledges the way the system is but that doesn’t deter her for reaching her dreams.

Panadox and Afu-Ra team up for “Born To Shine,” a hard-hitting piece that is anchored on a rock-infused soundscape and filled with the veteran rappers’ off-kilter raps.

Luminiah – chapter II: “strawberry wine”

Up rising singer/songwriter Luminiah presents “chapter II: “strawberry wine,” a progressive R&B track that explores themes of sincere vulnerability and the fear that comes with encountering a love like never before. The track produced by longtime collaborator Jonas is a dynamic piece that builds with tenrion and resolves itself as it reaches a melodic crescendo with Luminiah at the centrepiece.
