Welcome to TWIB’s Weekly Top 10 Videos. This is a segment where we look at some exceptional visuals from various acts around the globe. The music video format has been around for decades, through the 90s and 2000s, and it has taken flight from multi-million dollar budget music videos to mid to low-budget videos with exceptional features. In this section, we will not discriminate but highlight some creative visuals on our radar.

Again, we promise to bring you the best, from high- to low-budget, animated to DIY, and, first and foremost, the most creative visuals we can source.

Paul Prime – “Sewer Surfin”

German producer Paul Prime reveals his latest production  “Sewer Surfin” with the help pf Sphere Of Hip-Hop. The track is a gritty piece with punchy boom-bap drums, jazzy tones and cinematic textures that evoke solemnity.

 

 

Black Ivy – “Soft Static Skies”

Romanian music producer Black Ivy caught our ears with their latest track “Soft Static Skies.” The main chords lead the track aongside the bright keys, subtle bassline and soft drums and overall gives it a soothing aesthetic.

 

hazel bb – “Bandstand”

hazel bb‘s “Bandstand” is a mellow, relaxing track that sounds like the peak of summer. From the soothing pads, playful xylophones, soft grooves and booming bassline, the producer creates a live ambiance that puts listeners right in the middle of the action.

 

James Iwa – “Suits & Sneakers”

Switzerland-based music producer James Iwa raises the ante with “Suits & Sneakers.” The track fuses classic Jaza with modern alternative hip-hop and the result is a brilliant upbat, headnodding jam that everyone can rock to. The pulsating bass-driven groove, plucky riffs, warm tetxures and airy horns all compliment each other perfectly.

 

Hary.BoY – “Floating In Time”

Leipzig ,Germany-based music producer Hary.BoY returns with “Floating In Time,” a mellow lofi-soul piece with contemporary sounds. The use of slow build-ups, tension and resolution techniques really ramps up the energy.

 

lofi turtle – “Lofi Beach Sessions”

lofi turtle leads us into their “Lofi Beach Sessions,” which is filled with heartwarming vibes. The guitars are soft, the pads are rich and alluring and overall its the perfect track to rock with.

 

Hiest – “adamant”

Hiest makes their first entry into our playlist with “adamant,” a soothing summer-tinged piece that is also relaxing and reflective. The guitars are punctuated by soothing strings, atmospheric pads and together create a warm ambiance for the soul.

 

Slowheal – “Snooze”

 

Italian producer Slowheal taps into our playlist with “Snooze,” a laidback slow burn of a track. Lead by a soul-stirring guitar lick, solemn strings and soft percussions, the producer crafts a warm and enticing track that is perfect to aid our sleep.

 

Damien Sebe – “easy living”

Hard working music producer Damien Sebe is back with something refreshing in form of his latest track “easy living.” The jazz-soul piece evokes nostalgic moments and blissful vibes.

 

lofi deer – “Moss Moonlight”

 

lofi deer unveils this smooth track “Moss Moonlight” for us to rock with. Anchored on a lead guitar lick and warm pads and a solid drum groove, the producer delivers a solid piece for sure.

 

Bequem – “Cozy”

German producer Bequem returns to our playlist with “Cozy.” The aptly titled track is a perfect summer piece that ushers warmth and bliss with it’s melodic chords and slow build-up that leads into euphoria.

 

Toifoi – “Early Bird”

 

Swiss producer Toifoi is the “Early Bird” on this week’s playlist. The tune is backed by a soft sax arrangement, plucky bass line, lush licks and sparse drums that all come together like peas in a pod.

 

Big O – “Chaotic Joy”

Big O help close out this week’s instrumental playlist with “Chaotic Joy.” The title is a blend of feelings but the beat itself takes the cake with it’s anthemic texture and head-nodding drum groove that is layered with rich trills and sublime sound design effects. “Chaotic Joy” is the second single from the label, Proven Knowledge, upcoming compilation EP Summer Solstice.
