Welcome to TWIB’s Weekly Top 10 Videos. This is a segment where we look at some exceptional visuals from various acts around the globe. The music video format has been around for decades, through the 90s and 2000s, and it has taken flight from multi-million budget music videos to mid to low-budget videos with exceptional features. In this section, we will not discriminate but highlight some creative visuals that pop up on our radar.
Again, we promise to bring you the best from high to low budget, to animated to DIY and first and foremost, the most creative visuals we can source.

Seattle-based, Chicago-born rapper Fatal Lucciauno shares candid thoughts in “Walk on Water.” The track has a sparse and moody vibe comprising vocal samples, rumbling bass-driven grooves underpinned by insightful bars about life, the never-ending struggle and the eternal hope for a better tomorrow. The visuals are quite eclectic but performance-based and use a lot of subtle motifs and dark lighting.
Peckham-based rapper Kwengface is back in business as he drops this new anthemic tune “2 Conspiracies.” The single explores the rapper’s time in prison and the events that changed his life. From loss, shattered friendship and the need to reflect on changes, Kwengface takes listeners through it all on this emotion-laden track. The song comes with an energetic visual that starts with the rapper regaining his freedom and setting out to do what he loves the most, which is making music.
Indie rapper YACO enters our visual playlist with “BREEDY,” an off-kilter dreamy downtempo track. Armed with his off-beat melodic flow and laidback demeanour, YACO brings listeners into his world. The visual is performance-based with simple cut scenes and smooth transitions.
Duckwrth returns with a new visual and this time it’s for “Ken Doll” featuring Tanerélle. The track is a reflective piece that sees the artist self-examining himself while balancing his eccentric ways in a relationship. The visual concept is expressive and features puppets and subtle motifs that run through the track. The song is lifted from his third studio album, All American F⭐️ckBoy.
The legendary The Pharcyde are back in the fold with a brand new single “Timeless”. The track produced by Rick Rock is upbeat and bouncy and sees the veteran crew doing what they do best with fiery bars and a soul-stirring hook. The visuals are directed by 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE who uses performance shots and retro clips of the group to create a timeless narrative and their legendary status. The track is taken from The Pharcyde’s forthcoming EP.
Mourning [A] Blkstar teamed up with Fatboi Sharif for “Let ‘Em Eat,” a solemn piece that is anchored on emotional pain, trauma and self-resilience. The resulting track is bolstered by rich melodic runs and rousing horns and crunchy drum grooves. The song also comes with a cinematic visual that captures the essence of urban life in South Africa.
South London experimental soul artist McCabe caught our ears and eyes with the visuals of his new single “Vicious.” The track is a mid-tempo pop-soul piece that explores the concept of a breakup where both parties have to stay away from each other in order to grow. The overall vibe is bright but the theme is pretty solemn. The track’s accompanying music video was hhot using guerrilla-style film tactics, the video perfectly complements the track’s emotional duality. Shot at a funfair in Blackheath under the pretense of filming a documentary about London theme parks, the video features McCabe as a solitary figure amidst the colourful, energetic carnival atmosphere. The video’s director Sam Perry expands “Fairgrounds have a dazzling energy, but there’s always an undertone of danger and melancholy”
This is the first single from his debut LP Sunset Boulevard.
