Song for the Mute has offered a first look at its upcoming adidas SL72 PRO. A part of the SFTM x adidas Originals 008 collection, the sneakers are currently on preview at the Aussie brand’s showroom at Paris Fashion Week.
Offered in “Retro blue,” “Chalk” and “Cumin” colorways, the SL72 PRO features a patchwork-like design, utilizing a mix of premium suede overlays and woven textile base that lends a tactile, artisanal quality to the vintage runner silhouette. Tonal rope-style laces and co-branded tongue labels further elevate the worn-in and nomadic feel, while adidas’ emblematic Three Stripes are stitched onto the sides in a tonal and complementary fabrication.
This reveal follows the recent first look images of the Song for the Mute x adidas Samba OG SFTM-010, which is currently also previewed in Paris.
