Russ & Big Sean Collaborate On New Song ‘Shut Me Up’ Sampling ‘Baby Reindeer’: Listen

Rapper Russ and Detroit legend Big Sean have linked up for a unique collaboration, resulting in their latest release ‘Shut Me Up.’ For a while now, Russ has actively impressed revered emcees lyrically; from his collaboration with Ab-Soul to now Big Sean, who were both interestingly recently on the RedBull Cypher together.

The track actually contains a sample from a moment in the popular online series, Baby Reindeer, which was revealed by Russ as part of a breakdown reel he uploaded to promote the track. He also revealed that a Detroit artist friend asked him to put some Detroit drums on them, which he did, before sending it to Helluva, who sauced the record up.

Almost as a no-brainer, Russ decided to invite Big Sean to hop on the song, and the rest is history. Check out the track below!
