  • RUF Tribute debuts at Monterey Car Week
  • Features new 3.6L twin-turbo air-cooled flat-six with 550 hp
  • Carbon-fiber chassis, seven-speed manual, modern homage to 911 heritage

RUF has revealed the Tribute during Monterey Car Week, a modern supercar built around a brand-new air-cooled engine—an homage to the 911 and to the brand’s six-decade history with the iconic Porsche platform.

At its core is a 3.6L twin-turbo flat-six developed entirely in-house by RUF. The engine incorporates four-cam technology, variable cam timing, variable valve lift and three-valve cylinder heads, blending modern performance with the unmistakable character of classic air-cooled motors. Output is rated at 550 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, delivered through a seven-speed manual gearbox.

The engine sits within a lightweight carbon-fiber chassis, continuing RUF’s tradition of innovation through advanced engineering. With a redline of 6,750 rpm and a sound that connects directly to Porsche’s heritage, the Tribute aims to offer a raw yet refined driving experience focused on tactility, agility and emotional engagement.

“The rush of the air-cooled engine behind you adds something special to the modern RUF pantheon,” the company noted. “It takes the best of the motoring past and injects the technology of the present to create a supercar unlike any other.”

During Monterey Car Week festivities, the Tribute was showcased alongside the 800 hp CTR3 EVO, as well as the very first client-commissioned example of the RUF Rodeo, with all three vehicles proving that analog is not dead.
