After popularizing the term “YVL” – which stands for “Young Vamp Life” and finds itself as the crux of many King Vamp-conceived concepts, designs, and jewelry – Playboi Carti has dropped off his first YVL release of headwear.
The first-ever YVL drop spans one silhouette: a fitted hat.
Leaning into New Era’s design approach, the debut YVL headwear capsule keeps it simple. Spanning eleven colorways, the fitted caps are imbued with a vertical “YVL” logo in the center of the crown and another horizontally stylized logo on the left panel.
Colorways comprise mainly blacks, reds, whites, and blues, with one iteration taking an all-black silhouette and finished off with bright green branded hits. All of the hats retail for $60 USD, except for two, the white-on-white version and the white-on-navy version, both of which run at double the price for $120 USD.
