Nike Basketball has decided to make this week one to remember. It led off with the unveiling of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s new Nike Giannis Freak 7 and followed up with the announcement of the Nike Sabrina 3, Sabrina Ionescu’s latest signature shoe. From there, it ramped up the excitement to uncharted territory by hosting its own live edition of the SNKRS Showcase Series. Over 20 upcoming shoes were revealed, ranging from entries in the Greater Than (GT) series to new signature shoe colorways and even some beloved retro looks too. We’ve compiled a complete recap of the reveals, which are set to launch from next month through early 2026.
First up is a range of new GT Series launches, starting with the brand new GT Future. Colorways of “Metallic,” “Fire,” and “Lightning” will dress the anticipated sneaker this holiday season. The well-loved GT Cut 1 is back as the GT Cut 1 Retro, restyling the sneaker with color scheme options including “Volt,” “Black/Chrome,” and “White/Chrome.” The most recent entry in the GT Cut series, the GT Cut 3, has also been prepared with an animal-inspired PE from Jordan Poole.
Nike Basketball introduced the ST Flare as a streetball sneaker exclusive to China earlier this year. Its versatile build is now being readied in “Light Wild Mango” and “Dark Smoke Grey,” offering bold and slick compositions respectively.
Ja Morant and the Swoosh introduced the world to the Nike Ja 3 back in April, with Morant wearing the sneaker during his series against the eventual champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The shoe, which is scheduled to debut this fall, will see its lead “Max Volume” colorway later being joined by these “NY vs NY” and “EYBL” looks. The two, alongside an unnamed silver pair, all feature “A” graffiti drawn by Morant, combining with the lateral Swoosh to create a clever “JA” callout.
It’s only been a day since Giannis Antetokounmpo’s upcoming Nike Giannis Freak 7 was officially revealed. The shoe is back now with its lead “Ignition” pair joined by a “Live Wire” iteration that sees the sneaker dressed in pink throughout. His Euro step is the focal point of its contemporary design, ensuring Antetokounmpo can weave through any defense with ease. Look out for it to hit shelves for the first time at the end of the month.
Kevin Durant is making his way back to Texas next season after serving as the centerpiece of a historic seven-team deal this offseason. He’s set to suit up for the Houston Rockets, a team that was in dire need of a sharpshooter. The 36-year-old’s championship aspirations will be supported by the Nike KD 18 again, which has just been teased with a skeleton-adorned “Halloween,” a University of Texas-inspired “Rise,” and a shimmering “International Blue.”
Rounding out this expansive preview is the retro collection, which features three classic silhouettes. First is the Air Foamposite Pro, arriving in “Pearl,” “Pine Green,” “Black/Varsity Red,” and “Black/Dark Smoke Grey” in the next nine months. ‘Posite hype continues with the Air Flightposite donning an iridescent “Midnight Navy” and fall-ready “Baroque Brown.” Completing the lineup is Kevin Durant’s KD 4 in its OG “Texas Longhorns” orange and white.
