Nevada unemployment rate drops to 5.3% in August; Las Vegas metro sheds 4,300 jobs
September 19, 2025 - BlogNevada’s unemployment rate edged down to 5.3% in August, a decrease of a tenth of a percentage point from July, according to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.
