Nec Nymbl and Broken Sword unveil new single “Gladiatorz of da Gutta” (feat. DJ K-Flip)

Nec Nymbl and Broken Sword have teamed up for a forthcoming joint EP, but in the interim, they share their first single, “Gladiatorz of da Gutta.” The track produced by Nec and Crony (The Orthotones) has a gloomy piano riff underpinned by crunchy drums, vocal samples from news outlets that add to the grittiness of the track. Here, the duo deliver a hard-hitting performance as they pull no punches on their thoughts on modern slavery, economic meltdown, systemic racism, injustice, genocide, unjust wars, and the connection with banking conglomerates and Zionism. There is quite a lot to unpack as the duo leaves no stone unturned with their lyric-dense verses filled with notable references, vivid story telling and thought-provoking lines that aim to challenge the status quo.
The track also features Dj K-Flip, who does some excellent cuts. The track is mastered by Nec Nymbl as well.
