Music’s Best Moments at Paris Fashion Week SS26

Back

With Paris Fashion Week wrapped for the season, we’re looking back at some of our favorite music moments from the past week. Clipse took over the streets of Paris to premiere new Pharrell-designed Louis Vuitton pieces and new tracks from their upcoming Let God Sort Em Out album, while Tommy Richman and Roddy Ricch both made their runway soundtrack curation debuts for 424 and Namesake, respectively, among a handful of other notable live performances.

Clipse Takes Over Paris, Debuting New Footwear and New Tracks

Pusha T and Malice turned the streets of Paris into their playground, popping up throughout the city during the course of the week. A likely link-up that holds strong with each season, Clipse paired up with Pharrell – the producer of the entirety of Let God Sort Em Out – for the LV show, the duo’s “So Be It” part of the runway soundtrack. Before the show, Pusha served as the face of the brand’s new collection, debuting a few new pieces on socials. Once he and Malice got to Paris, they performed an intimate show on the rooftop of the LV headquarters (where they recorded the entire album) – which included a live debut of the album’s “Chains and Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar. The duo debuted a new edition of the adidas Adistar Jellyfish sneakers as well.

Doechii x Tyler, the Creator’s “Get Right” Debuts on the Louis Vuitton Runway

Pharrell’s soundtracks never disappoint. Included in LV’s runway playlist this season was a new song from Tyler, the Creator and Doechii. Produced by Pharrell, the track is entitled “Get Right” and has not been officially released on streaming services yet. “Get Right” marks Tyler and Doechii’s second studio collaboration after CHROMAKOPIA’s “Balloon.”

A$AP Rocky Previews More of DON’T BE DUMB During AWGE Show

Similarly, A$AP Rocky, too, knows how to host a music-infused fashion spectacle, doing just that once again for AWGE’s second show in Paris. The homage to Harlem included a PUMA collaboration, a front row appearance from Rihanna and Riot, and an immersive collection of backing tracks. Models strutted to a handful of new A$AP Rocky tracks, previewed from the rapper’s (hopefully) forthcoming DON’T BE DUMB album. Two of the three new tracks feature Thoto.

Tommy Richman Soundtracks the 424 Show

Making his debut as a runway music curator is Tommy Richman. Ascending to global fame after “MILLION DOLLAR BABY,” Richman’s rise has been rapid, so it makes sense for him to find himself involved in a Paris runway so early in his career. Richman set the soundscape for the 424 show with a curation of synth, SoundCloud-type beats.

Yung Lean Pulls Up to Y-3

An appearance from none other than Yung Lean is guaranteed to make any “Best Moments” roundup. Leandoer himself showed up for the Y-3 runway, donning a full monochromatic Y-3 tracksuit.

Rihanna and Rocky Run Yet Another Fashion Week

Fashion Week royalty, Rocky and Riri, ruled the streets of Paris this season once again. Nothing else needed to be said.

Dominic Fike’s Seasonal Saint Laurent Stint

If there’s one thing we can count on every season, it’s Dominic Fike sitting front row at Saint Laurent, in head-to-toe Saint Laurent. This season was no exception, the musician, in a brown suit, making his routine appearance to the FROW for Anthony Vaccarello‘s SS26 showcase.

AMIRI’s A-List Front Row, Featuring J Balvin, Ryan Castro, French Montana and 2 Chainz

AMIRI also had a pretty impressive selection of front row guests. Musicians including J Balvin, Ryan Castro, French Montana and 2 Chainz co-mingled alongside a lineup of other A-list actors, actresses, and athletes.

Louis Vuitton Lands (Another) Star-Studded Guest List – Beyoncé and Jay-Z Included

But if we’re speaking of front rows, if we had to hand it to just one, it would have to be Louis Vuitton. In addition to the ever-so-regal Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Jackson Wang, J-Hope, Karol G, Uncle Waffles, and, of course, Clipse, were among this season’s front-row viewers.

Live Performances at Lemaire, Yohji Yamamoto, Wales Bonner, and Études Studios

Many designers brought out live instrumentalists this season. Lemaire had percussionist and strings duo Valentina Magaletti and Zongamin playing live as the collection showed, while Wales Bonner similarly had Dutch cellist Ranie Ribeiro score the show. Yohji Yamamoto‘s SS26 showcase was backed by a live choir covering classics, and Études Studio embraced an eclectic live assortment of percussion, drums, and bells scattered throughout the room.

Hiroshi Fujiwara Soundtracks the KENZO Runway

Day one friends and collaborators, Hiroshi Fujiwara teamed up with NIGO (and Futura) for this season’s KENZO show to soundtrack the runway.

Rema and Roddy Ricch Walk the 424 Runway

424 was another face-paced fusion of fashion and music, with both Rema and Roddy Ricch making their runway debuts during the show.

Street Style Standouts: 2hollis, ASAP Nast

Though they didn’t walk the runway this season, they walked the Parisian streets – arguably even more important. 2hollis showed out to shows including Louis Vuitton and Rick Owens while ASAP Nast hosted a listening event in between appearing at AWGE, among others.
