Hi everyone, Im keen to use a pair of linked Aphex 651compressors as a main bus compressor. Ive got one and am in the process of getting hold of another.
They are serial numbered 15XX and 48XX so not super close, but good enough I guess. I would like to know what I should do ( or ask a tech) to do to match them sonically?
Im thinking I should recap the PSU’s as a matter of course, but are there any other things I should check for?
Im assuming that the QC and components used by Aphex were very good, so maybe Im worrying unduly, but maybe someone who is familiar with the units could advise?
