As per The Wrap, Colin Trevorrow is in discussions to direct the film and co-write the script alongside Joe Epstein. No additional information was revealed.
The Jetsons was a ’60s animated sitcom from Hanna-Barbera Productions that served as the Space Age version of The Flinstones. The series aired for a total of three seasons — the first between 1962 and 1963, and the final two between 1985 to 1987. George O’Hanlon, Penny Singleton, Janet Waldo, Daws Butler, Mel Blanc, Don Messick and Jean Vander Pyl were the original voice actors, with Frank Welker joining during the show’s run in the ’80s.
