Goldwin has unveiled its Oyabe Fall/Winter 2025 skiwear collection, a line that pays homage to the brand’s origins in Oyabe City in Toyama Prefecture. Named after the birthplace of Goldwin in 1950, the Oyabe series represents a new chapter in the brand’s ski heritage, combining traditional craftsmanship with advanced materials developed at the Goldwin Tech Lab. The collection is designed to perform in extreme alpine conditions while offering a sophisticated aesthetic that transitions seamlessly from the slopes to après-ski environments.

The collection’s conceptual focus moves beyond standard performance, aiming to introduce a new sense of elegance to the snow scene. Goldwin emphasizes the concept of “beautiful when worn, beautiful when taken off,” a philosophy achieved through meticulous attention to detail and the active use of specialized, hard-to-mass-produce specifications.

Key pieces in the collection include the Oyabe 3L Jacket, Oyabe Down Jacket and Oyabe 2L Jacket, each engineered with high-performance fabrics. The 3L Jacket utilizes GORE-TEX technology for waterproofing and breathability, while the Down Jacket incorporates WINDSTOPPER by GORE-TEX LABS with 900-fill power down insulation for maximum warmth. The 2L Jacket features PrimaLoft Gold Insulation with Cross Core, balancing lightweight comfort with thermal efficiency.
