Summary
Burton Snowboards has announced an exclusive collaboration with longtime partner Hiroshi Fujiwara and his iconic brand, fragment. This comprehensive collection reflects the Japanese designer’s thirty-year passion for snowboarding, blending Burton’s mountain heritage with a refined, streetwear aesthetic.
The expansive capsule includes hard goods such as the Burton Family Tree Branch Manager snowboard and STEP ON Genesis EST Bindings, as well as outerwear. Key apparel pieces include the Burton [ak] Acamar Jacket and Bib Pants, engineered for challenging backcountry conditions. The collection is completed with Anon goggles and a helmet, creating a holistic kit for both the slopes and modern life. Inspired by the contrasting environments of Japan’s alpine peaks and Tokyo’s city streets, the pieces in the collection are all united by a pervasive stealth-inspired motif.
Regarding the collaboration, Hiroshi commented, “I’m truly grateful that Burton consistently creates products with impeccable functionality for enjoying my beloved snowboarding. Beyond the wear I love for everyday street style, I’m thrilled we could collaborate holistically, including gear.”
Fusing functionality with urban minimalism, the Burton Snowboards x fragment collection is set to launch on November 13, available on Burton’s website and at select flagship stores.
