Looking ahead to 2026, it comes as no surprise that the Nike SB Dunk Low will again play a pivotal role for the Swoosh’s skateboarding division. Pairs like the San Francisco railway system-inspired “Muni Fast Pass” and the polarizing Kirkland Signature collaboration are expected to drop in the new year.
Adding to the list, a new “Som Tum” colorway of the sneaker has just surfaced. Drawing inspiration from the Thai dish, a papaya salad, this take on the sneaker features brown woven paneling that nods to hand-woven baskets. “Blaze Orange” accents are present at the piping and laces. Meanwhile, silver strikes the heel with Thai script present at the tabs. Thematic graphics are spread throughout the sneaker, from the interior side of the tongue tags to the sockliner, completing this early look at the pair.
At the time of writing, Nike SB has not yet discussed when this Thai food-themed “Som Tum” colorway of the SB Dunk Low will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates, including an official look at the sneaker, as we currently expect it to drop during next summer via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops at a starting price of $130 USD.
