Fifteen Eleven Design has unleashed a radical reimagining of the classic Porsche 914, transforming the modest mid-engine Targa into a motorsport-grade restomod with serious performance credentials. Now available to test drive at HK Motorcars in the US and Fifteen Eleven’s EU site, this reborn 914 pairs old-school silhouette with cutting-edge engineering.
Under the hand-laid carbon fiber bodywork sits a flat-six from the 987 platform, tuned to produce up to 400 hp depending on configuration. Buyers can choose between a 3.8L or race-prepped 4L option featuring forged pistons, steel internals and Life Racing electronics. Power is delivered through a six-speed manual gearbox, while suspension is handled by three-way adjustable Reiger coilovers, tech typically reserved for WRC cars. The setup includes a fully re-engineered chassis with T45 tubular reinforcements and Brembo brakes for track-ready stopping power.
The design nods to Porsche’s motorsport history with “Moby Dick”-style lights, an aggressive ducktail spoiler and custom 18-inch Fikse Fuchs wheels. Inside, drivers will find a bespoke interior trimmed in leather and Alcantara, race bucket seats and a revised bulkhead for added legroom. Production is expected to be limited to 50 units, with the exception of potential one-off collaborations.
