The Detroit Lions’ annual Thanksgiving game delivered an unforgettable halftime performance as Motor City rock legend Jack White surprised the crowd by bringing out hip-hop icon Eminem.

The performance kicked off with Jack White playing “That’s How I’m Feeling.” The atmosphere intensified when Eminem, arguably the Lions’ most famous fan, made an unexpected entrance onto the Ford Field stage. Eminem delivered a unique, rock-infused medley, rapping over The White Stripes’ “Hello Operator” before seamlessly transitioning into his 2002 smash hit, “Till I Collapse.” Jack White then brought the performance to a close with the fan-favorite stadium chant, “Seven Nation Army,” backed by the Lions cheerleaders.

Perfectly blending Detroit’s rock and hip-hop legacies, this successful performance marks the first major production under a new deal in which Eminem and his longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg. They were tapped as executive producers of the annual Thanksgiving halftime show through 2027, and White was the inaugural artist booked under their new creative leadership.
