The Dublin Disco All-Dayer is set to return to Orlagh House, Rathfarnham, for its fourth edition on 11 October, with Chicago legend DJ Rahaan set to make his first Irish appearance in six years with a special three-hour set.
Kicking off at 2pm, the event also features Pablo (Fatty Fatty), Ruth Kavanagh (Mother), Ping Pong Disco, Honey DJs, Aoife Ni Canna vs Chord Memory, Belfast Music Club, Groovement Soul DJs, Cleveland Mike (Mission DJ’s/Backwards) and Together Soul DJs, and if previous all-dayers are anything to go by, it’s set to be a stomper.
The main room, a converted church hall, seeks to channel the underground energy of New York’s disco scene with a Klipschorn sound system, while the Balearic Back Room offers more eclectic sounds – jazz, ambient, and reggae in the afternoon, evolving into house, afrobeat, hip-hop, and soul as the night progresses. The venue also features a fully stocked bar featuring craft beers from Sierra Nevada, as well as food vendors.
Since launching in 2024, the biannual all-dayer – taking place in February and October – has hosted international heavyweights such as Joe Claussell, Nicky Siano of Studio 54 and The Gallery fame, and Black Science Orchestra.
