Rapper Drake, who is currently caught up with the ongoing legal battle with Universal Media Group, is not done with the beef. While it may be true that he’s not releasing any songs directly aimed at Kendrick Lamar, his latest move is seeing by many as a way to spite Kendrick.
Afterall, a key moment in the diss exchange between the two related to Drake’s possession of Tupac’s ring. Now, Drake has gone a step further and purchased Tupac’s chain from a luxury collectibles dealer, Alexander Bitar. To be clear, this is the famous Death Row Records chain that Pac owned and wore in the cover art for All Eyez On Me. Take a look at Drake’s IG post below.
In 2023, Drake purchased a crown ring made of gold, ruby, and diamond for more than $1 million at a Sotheby’s auction which was the talk of the town.
In the feud, Drake also used AI to impersonate Pac. Kendrick vowed he was ready to double the quote to get Pac’s ring back. Surely, this new move isn’t going to sit well with West Coast rappers. What do you think?
