Summary
An official trailer for TRIGUN STARGAZE was unveiled at the latest edition of New York Comic Con. Continuing the western‑cyberpunk saga, the story resumes two and a half years after the Lost JuLai tragedy, following Meryl – now a senior journalist – her younger sidekick Milly, the reappearance of Wolfwood and a plot that implicates Millions Knives’s organization as plant robberies escalate.
Vash, living under the name Eriks in a remote town, is drawn back into action after a visit from Jessica and an SOS from the third ship they call home, prompting him to confront a long‑standing feud to protect those he cares for. The season escalates to a planetary crisis when a fleet of colony ships offers evacuation, only for the one‑winged angel to return and plunge the world into renewed chaos, setting fates on a collision course toward a final conclusion.
The production reunites talent around Yasuhiro Nightow’s original manga, with Masako Sato directing, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu on series composition, Takehiko Oki credited for script concepts, Kouji Tajima on concept art and character design.
This highly anticipated final season is set to premiere on Crunchyroll in January 2026. The announcement confirmed that Studio Orange will continue to oversee the animation production, maintaining the distinct visual style established in the preceding season, TRIGUN STAMPEDE.
