Beyoncé is a generational artist has proved it once again with her performance in Houston. Suspended in midair inside a red convertible and performing for her hometown crowd as part of the Cowboy Carter shows, Beyoncé was quick to realise that her stunt was going the wrong way.
By that, we mean that the car tilted and shifted dangerously sloping towards the ground as Beyoncé performed her song ’16 carriages.’ Unfazed, the 43 year old singer kept her composure and smiled at the audience in reassurance that everything was going to be alright.
As the car tilted, the singer made sure to hang on to one of the cables and was safe in her harness. “Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop,” she said as she alerted the team quickly, which allowed the car to be lowered down to a safe height. At this point, the car resumed its balance and Beyoncé resumed her performance.
“Thank y’all for your patience,” she said, kindly acknowledging the crowd’s shock before getting back to being the professional she is. Glad nobody was hurt! What do you think?
