Azzecca brings Higher Ground’s summer single with cosmic club cut ‘IDK’ 

Chicago’s high-energy DJ/producer Azzecca brings an always excitedly anticipated Higher Ground release as she returns to the label with driving, cosmic single ‘IDK’, out now.

‘IDK’: pioneering the ‘cosmic’ sound that’s captivating global dancefloors in her sets, the powerful beat with a breaksy skip in it and the relentless, driving bass synth riff are shot through with spacey SFX and an otherworldly, distorted/echoing vocal for a galactically huge summer hit. 

Tastemakers’ favourite Azzecca keeps conquering new worlds after a rocket of a career blast-off. She just dropped her remix of Mindchatter’s ‘Corporate Shakespeare’ as her debut on Foreign Family Collective w. Ninja Tune on July 25th, reworking the quirky original into something typically cosmic, punchy and club-ready. Her new event series‘Cosimea’, ‘an exploration of forward thinking and other-worldly club sounds’ launches as an ARC Festival afterparty in her hometown at the iconic Smartbar Chicago (previous residents inc. Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter, The Blessed Madonna) on August 30th.
 
The charismatic talent’s accolades include support from BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Danny Howard, Arielle Free, Pete Tong, Sarah Story, shows at Coachella, Movement Festival, Elsewhere Brooklyn, Radio 1 Ibiza, ARC Chicago, and releasing on DGTL, Kompakt, Maccabi House, FFC, Higher Ground…
