Evolving from the fabric of the quintessential British council estate Simon has clawed his way across the globe to create the iconic Shrine Studios and co-found the #1 dance music radio station in the country… ViBE 99.7FM Las Vegas!

In the early 90s Simon cut his teeth in the UK Rave scene and pirate radio before moving stateside to take the global dance music scene by storm. Simon was raised through the explosion of UK rave culture so it’s no surprise his hi octane DJ sets have lit dance-floors on fire across the world from the UK to Australia to Canada, Mexico, Europe and beyond!

During the mid nineties Simon was instrumental in the introduction of the harder styles of electronic dance music to the USA. He produced and released hundreds of UK Hardcore singles with iconic labels such as Warner, Sony, Decadence, Resist, Slammin’ Vinyl, Hardcore Heaven, Ministry of Sound, Bonkers, React and many more. Simon paved the way through the sea of Hardcore to carve out his own Breakbeat Hardcore sub-genre coined “Breaks and Bass” which shares an exciting reflection to today’s upfront dance floor Drum & Bass that’s currently taking the world by storm.

Simon was discovered by Pasquale Rotella of Insomniac in 1996 and quickly became a resident DJ. Simon worked closely with the Insomniac team for the next decade assisting in developing Hard Dance stages and arenas for iconic festivals such as Nocturnal Wonderland, EDC and beyond whilst managing an extensive international performance schedule.

Fast forward to today and Simon resides as Chief Audio Engineer at the iconic Shrine Studios in Las Vegas working with a wide range of iconic artists including KRS-One, Amy Grant, Kathy Brown, Lee Dagger and Bonzai Caruso who collaboratively have over a 100 Billboard #1 hits, over 200 top 10 digital releases, 21 Grammy nominations and 9 Grammy wins!

Simon is also co-founder and Station Manager for the all new pure dance music radio station ViBE 99.7FM in Las Vegas. Since the launch of the station in 2023 ViBE 99.7FM has grown into the largest FM radio station in Las Vegas with the largest broadcast footprint of  any dance music radio station in the country! ViBE 99.7 FM has also recently achieved Media Base ranking which places the station on the national stage of the most important in the country and is also monitored for spin data which is used to determine national Billboard chart ranking for artists.

Amongst a busy production and work schedule Simon still loves to perform his high energy dance floor Drum & Bass and his Dj sets are nothing short of incredible as he pulls from his decades of turntablism experience for every set. The way he utilizes his performance skills of cutting and scratching to interact with the audience creates an electric atmosphere on the dance floor like no other.

In a constant effort to improve Simon is always looking for ways to raise the performance bar and has recently paired up with the legendary Mc Virus to bring an interactive show like no other on today’s Drum & Bass circuit. The duo’s unique question and answer performance style between the lyrical delivery, turntablist skills and crowd participation is nothing short of spectacular! It’s no wonder this duo is in high demand for clubs and festivals across the country!
