A$AP Rocky, who is currently in the middle of (what fans hope to be) an album rollout, recently landed a Moncler collaboration, right after having wrapped a movie. With him on a bit of a roll, we finally hear from Rocky again in interviews. In the most recent one, the rapper spoke on Drake and his feud with Kendrick.
Speaking on being involved in the battle in a limited manner, Rocky voiced his side. Rocky addressed backing out from the duel precisely because of the nature of the battle: a duel. “The battle was between Kendrick and Drake, not Drake and everybody else who might have said something at that time, and that’s mainly why I fell back,” Rocky explained in an Elle feature.
Rocky is also confused by the way in which Drake dealt with what many believe to be a certain loss. “I just hate the way it’s turning out with [him] suing and all that. What part of the game is that? What type of sh*t is that? That’s none of my business, I guess” Rocky concluded.
This isn’t all though; Rocky also expressed his views on being a fashion icon, a “pretty boy,” and owing the title. With self awareness of his persona, and how being gangsta isn’t a part of it. Check out the full interview here!
