Summary
Yung Lean and Bladee came correct to their set at Øya Festival last week. On top, the duo donned matching drummer jackets, but it was the footwear that turned heads, both artists stepping onto Oslo’s biggest festival stage in striking custom Timberland 6-inch boots.
The classic, constantly reimagined Timberland silhouette comes revamped through the both Bladee and Lean’s respective creative lens, defined by sharp spike detailing throughout.
Lean went with a pair of wheat-colored boots, accented with gold spikes on the toe and down the heel. The toe caps and tags are stamped with skylls, while the padded-leather collars maintain their classic color and come together to read “World Affairs.”
As for Bladee, his pair of custom Wheats came in dipped in an all-white colorway, accented with all-over silver spikes. It’s unclear what the text on the white-leather collars say, but Instagram commenters are suspecting “Shield” and “Drain.”
