Despite making us wait months between single drops, Saba x No ID are still locked in on bringing their long-ideated and even longer-anticipated joint From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID project to life. The iconic Chicago rapper/producer duo has shared another single lifted from the imminent album entitled “Woes of The World.”
The three-and-a-half-minute cut is another captivating display of how compatible the Chicagoan talents are on a track, with Saba’s sharp wordplay pairing perfectly with No ID’s sleek studio production.
“It makes me emotional to know what I know,” Saba reflects on the chorus over layered production.
“Woes of The World” joins “How to Impress God” (released in October 2024) as the second official single on the album, also following up earlier in 2024’s “head.rap” featuring Madison McFerrin, Ogi and Jordan Ward and prior Saba x No ID collabs from 2023: “Back in Office” and “hue_man nature.”
However, whether these earlier tracks will appear on the album remains to be seen, as details are still all under wraps – though a press release does assure that the joint LP is “coming soon.”
While we wait, stream “Woes of The World” on Spotify and Apple Music now and stay tuned for more concrete release info on From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID.
