A Glitterbox collaboration from legends Shakedown & Bootsy Collins, ‘Funky And You Know It’, receives a remix from French multi-faceted artist Myd. Originally released in September 2023, the Swiss electronic project Shakedown joined forces with American record producer, vocalist and funk legend Bootsy Collins for an instant classic that has soundtracked the label’s extravagant parties ever since.
Now the producer, DJ and member of esteemed electronic band Club Cheval Myd steps up on remix duties, adding his eclectic flair to the funk-laden record. The Ed Banger signed artist’s remix of ‘Funky And You Know It’ takes the rolling feel of the original and ups the tempo, injecting a dose of nu disco into the already uplifting track and ensuring the distinctive vocals of Bootsy Collins are heard on global dancefloors for years to come.
