Gearing up for the upcoming Lunar New Year, G-SHOCK has revealed its limited-edition GSTB400CX-1A timepiece. Designed to honor the Year of the Snake, the new reference blends cultural symbolism with G-SHOCK’s renowned commitment to innovation and durability.
As the latest addition to the G-STEEL collection, this analog-digital chronograph amalgamates bold design and functionality. Featuring a durable stainless-steel band and a dual-coil motor that drives the rotating disc dial at the 9 o’clock position, the watch is outfitted in a sophisticated color palette comprised of gold, black and silver, all topped with gold accents.
Symbolic elements are intricately woven into the design, with the watch dial, buttons and band showcasing scale-like patterns. Meanwhile, the Gold IP buttons, metal keeper and vapor deposition treatments on the dial markings highlight its refined details. The caseback also spotlights the Ouroboros emblem, a serpent devouring its own tail, serving as a symbol for infinity, unity and the eternal cycle of renewal.
As usual, the watch is incorporated with advanced technology, including a shock-resistant structure, 200-meter water resistance, Tough Solar power, Bluetooth® Smartphone Link and various other features such as world time, a stopwatch, and multiple alarms. These features, combined with the watch’s sophisticated design, make it both a functional and stylish piece.
Available for $380 USD, the GSTB400CX-1A is now available to shop via G-SHOCK as well as select retailers.
