Summary
The 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan are quickly approaching, and the Icelandic Winter Olympic Team is gearing up to make a statement both on and off the slopes.
Local outerwear label 66°North has announced its role as the team’s official outfitter, marking a milestone collaboration that aligns with the brand’s 100th anniversary in 2026.
Rooted in Icelandic heritage, the partnership will see 66°North outfit the team for the Opening Ceremony and throughout the competitions in February. The uniforms spotlight 66°North’s signature Hornstrandir jacket and trousers, rendered in a crisp snow-white colorway. The design is accented with team insignias across the sleeves, chest, and back, alongside a “Milano Cortina 2026” tribute and gradient zippers inspired by the Icelandic flag.
Footwear comes courtesy of the HOKA Kaha 2 Frost Moc GORE-TEX, engineered to withstand extreme weather conditions and seamlessly complement the team’s winter-ready uniforms.
Beyond the Olympic roster, 66°North will also dress the Icelandic Paralympic Team. The celebration continues at home with the release of an exclusive capsule collection in Iceland, featuring beanies, T-shirts, and hoodies.
