New York-based, modern Korean perfumery ELOREA‘s latest collection, “Resonance,” is a four-part fragrance series that reinterprets Korea’s rich olfactory heritage through a contemporary lens. Developed in collaboration with four renowned perfumers, each scent draws inspiration from Korean cultural traditions and natural ingredients, while also reflecting the diverse global backgrounds of its creators.

“Bae Frais,” by Shyamala Maisondieu, celebrates the crisp sweetness of the Korean pear, layered with bergamot, orange flower, and tonka bean for a luminous yet comforting scent. “Silk Bouquet,” created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, pays homage to the royal Korean art of silk flower making, opening with Korean watermelon blossom and magnolia before unfolding into iris, narcissus, and tuberose, grounded by patchouli and vetiver.

“Cloud Daze,” crafted by Linda Song, reimagines the creamy sweetness of makgeolli rice wine, balancing juniper, jasmine sambac and cognac with vanilla, rice, as well as dalgona for a soft, addictive gourmand. Last but not least, “Royal Resin,” composed by Gaël Montero, offers a modern tribute to chimhyang namu – the oud once treasured in Korean palaces – blending citron, raspberry, and myrrh with incense and Korean birch for a meditative finish.
