Oakley was a prominent fixture at this year’s Hypegolf Clubhouse Classic, held at New York’s Harbor Links Golf on September 17. Spotted on the course were former pro baseball player Frank Caffey, Kith COO Nick Annacone and more, who wore styles from Oakley’s latest branded collab with the Hypegolf Label, a unique range of performance wear designed for on- and off-green comfort. The Hypegolf x Oakley collection envisions a modern uniform for a new generation of players, distinctly designed through Oakley’s hyper-futuristic lens.
The apparel collection showcases Oakley’s dedication to innovation, featuring adaptive materials that serve as armor for the body, enabling dynamic and high-performance mobility. Meticulously designed to meet the demands of the green while blending both brands’ minimalist visual styles, the range is just as fashion-forward as it is functional, no matter where the game takes you. The C1 Bark Pullover, which proved handy for the day’s rainy weather, along with the Driven Tee, exemplified the styling versatility of the collection during intensive gameplay and those relaxed moments off the tee box. The six-panel cap, engineered with laser-cut holes for optimal breathability, topped off the ensembles and showcased the brand’s knack for sleek sporting accessories.
Ahead of the tournament, Hypegolf met up with media personality and founder of Bunker Athletic Club Haley McCartney, a former Division 1 golfer, to see her expertise on the course in Oakley’s elevated essentials. Annacone and Caffey, both industry leaders who’ve shaped the cultural zeitgeist of streetwear and harnessed the intersection of sport and culture throughout their careers, made special appearances on tournament day, outfitted in pieces from the collection. Embracing Hypegolf’s ethos, the tournament highlighted how golf has become a cultural mecca for today’s prominent tastemakers — a social space magnifying the sport’s tradition and exciting frontier.

To celebrate the official launch of the Oakley x Hypegolf collaboration, Oakley activated at Hypegolf Clubhouse, treating guests to a special pouring series courtesy of Johnnie Walker while they viewed a curated range from the latest “Future Genesis” campaign. During the event, Oakley also highlighted its bold foray into golf footwear, spotlighting the performance-centric Oakley Edge Icon.
Beyond the apparel, Oakley also displayed a co-branded golf bag alongside the brand’s heritage eyewear at Hypegolf Clubhouse Classic, including the cult classic Plantaris, Lateralis, and Masseter lines. Attendees were treated to exclusive giveaways of Oakley eyewear and apparel as special keepsakes from the event, allowing them to capture content and explore the brand’s universe outside of the Clubhouse experience.
