Positioning itself as the smallest member of the lineup, the FJ is designed to capture the classic spirit of the nameplate while offering increased agility and a host of modern, customizable features.

Built on a refined version of Toyota’s durable IMV ladder-frame platform, the FJ is engineered for serious off-road capability, boasting wheel articulation comparable to the venerable Land Cruiser 70 Series and a tight 5.5-meter turning radius. The FJ prioritizes both function and practicality for the adventurous owner. A unique and welcome feature is the inclusion of removable front and rear corner bumpers, allowing owners to easily and cheaply replace damaged sections after aggressive trail use. Inside, the cabin is utilitarian yet thoughtfully equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a wide infotainment display.

Powering the launch model is a dependable 2.7-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine producing 161 horsepower, paired with a part-time four-wheel-drive system. The Land Cruiser FJ debuted t at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 and will begin its global rollout in mid-2026.
