Summary
Cecilie Bahnsen and The North Face have reunited for a Fall/Winter 2025 collection, marking their second limited-edition capsule collaboration. First introduced during Bahnsen’s FW25 show at Paris Fashion Week, the latest range builds on the success of their debut partnership and continues to explore the intersection of couture-inspired silhouettes and high-performance outerwear.
This new chapter refines the dialogue between Bahnsen’s hyper-feminine design language and The North Face’s mountaineering heritage through six reimagined outerwear and apparel styles, along with two footwear silhouettes– all expertly designed to withstand the elements while offering a modern, romantic perspective. The legendary Nuptse Jacket is transformed with a dramatic peplum-style back, a full-length maxi silhouette and a custom, hand-finished appliqué pattern in a striking navy shade.
The collection also introduces the Expedition Maxi Skirt, a voluminous new silhouette with a hand-stitched floral motif in a charcoal colorway, and the Lhotse Coat, which is subtly cinched and features delicate appliqué detailing on a cream base. This romantic aesthetic extends to the capsule’s color palette, which is composed of soft, muted tones including cream, navy, and charcoal.
For the first time, The North Face’s iconic Base Camp Duffel has been scaled down and redesigned by Cecilie Bahnsen as a new handbag silhouette. This reimagined duffel and the footwear silhouettes, the Camp Mule and the Winter V Lace Boot, all feature an intricate floral quilting pattern to mirror the apparel. The Camp Mule adds a whimsical touch with an oversized black bow on the toe.
To mark the release, the brands launched a campaign shot along the rugged coastlines of Mølle and Kullaberg in Sweden. Captured by photographer Ellen Fedors and styled by Emelie Johansson, the imagery reflects themes of freedom, determination, and duality. Athletes such as trail runner Ida-Sophie Hegemann and boulderer Melina Costanza appear alongside models, moving between intimate close-ups and sweeping landscapes.
Available in Soil Brown and Black colorways, the new collaborative collection will launch exclusively via The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen on October 30, 2025.
