With Fashion Month in full swing for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, it’s hard to keep track of which city we’re in now. So Hypetrak is following along the only way we know how to: by music-related moments.
After a music-heavy New York Fashion Week, we’re looking back at both Milan Fashion Week and London Fashion Week in tandem by way of its live performances, notable link-ups, runway cameos, and soundtracks.
To celebrate the recent Fall/Winter 2025 “Advice of an Icon” campaign with Timberland, Skepta brought the iconic energy to London Fashion Week. The rapper shut down Shoreditch Village Underground – which was fully transformed into a makeshift recording studio – for a surprise cypher performance for over 600 guests. Big Smoke didn’t come alone, enlisting Big Zuu, Jayahadadream and Miss Banks to step on stage for their own solo cyphers as well.

Demna had a big week in Milan; ahead of his runway debut at Gucci, he made sure to link with front-row attendee, Nettspend, for a backstage photo. Nett also confirmed, pre-photo, that an album is in fact on the way.
For Burberry Spring 2026, the house is harkening back to the heyday of rock and roll for its runway soundtrack. To close out the week, Daniel Lee staged a true soundscape of a spectacle at Kensington Palace Gardens for his newest season of ready-to-wear. Evoking a classic Brit-rock music festival sort of vibe, the edgy new collection was shown as a medley of Black Sabbath tracks blared in the background. Sir Elton John, RAYE, and Central Cee also sat front row.
For MAINS London‘s Season 3 showcase, Creative Director Skepta is tapping into what he knows best: grime music and culture. In a nostalgic new collection dubbed “Eurotrash,” Skepta infuses the ethos and energy of 1990s sonics and subcultures throughout, transporting guests back to the early aughts nightlife of London. Skepta even elected to present the foray on a runway scattered with dirty bins and party flyers, giving an authentic “underground club” aura to the show.
Believe it or not, H&M’s show-now, buy-now Fall/Winter 2025 delivery at London Fashion Week brought out the stars. While a gaggle of A-listers – Central Cee, Little Simz, Emily Ratajkowski and Gabbriette included – sat FROW, Lola Young not only walked the runway, but hopped on the hybrid stage for a live performance of “d£aler” and “Messy.”

For Sierra Leone–born designer Foday Dumbuya’s latest LABRUM’s showcase – what he calls a “case study in cultural osmosis” – he brought a hypnotic arrangement of live music to Westminster’s Central Hall. Complete with a full chamber orchestra and a myriad of instrumentalists, live performances came from Northwest London’s Balimaya Project, as well as Julianknxx, Obongjayar, and Odumodublvck, each offering their own fusion of West African rhythms and UK jazz sounds.

London Fashion Week’s rap royalty reunites once again. Central Cee and Skepta stopped for a flick backstage at Skepta’s MAINS Season 3 show.
