Emerging NY-raised rapper Ken Nai caught our attention with his new release “Smiles Behind.” The reflective track dives into heartfelt topics like love, inner struggles, forgiveness and the battle of egoes. Over a soulful vocal-sample driven backdrop, Nai delivers a powerful message about finding one’s true peace while going through the aforementioned emotions and experiences in life.
Genre-bending artist Harry Gray deliver this much needed message in his latest release “Be Free.” The buncy dance/R&B infused track is bolstered by a catchy chorus and playful raps reminding us to be free and enjoy our lives.
German rappers DZUMK and 6tro pay homage to the natural herbs in the aptly titled “PAFF” and help share their knowledge of the best strains out there for those who are not in the know. The production has a summer-time vibe and it’s groovy but their detailed lyrics and engaging flows add that extra pizazz into the mix.

Underground hip-hop collective AlumNY unveil their latest single “Black Boy,” a reggae-tinged boombap banger that explores the dyanmics of young black men trying to navigate through the urban concrete jungle filled with hurdles, apex predators and missed opportunities. The emcees Dynas, and Kil Ripkin both share their respective accounts and give listeners a clear view of the situation over Jah Freedom‘s edgy soundscape.
Indie rapper Casey Weber‘s latest release “Goodbye,” digs deep into loss and the emotional rollercoaster of saying goodbye to those close to him who have passed away. The guitar laden track is solemn and moody but is also a bit uplifting as it talks about the good memories shared with those people which far outweighs the bad ones.
Emerging Liberian/American singer/songwriter Graydon Francis enters our playlist with his new single “Tell Me Your Name.” The track has a classic R&B vibe with a mix of the 2000s with a modern twist and sees the singe rin his element as he waxes lyrical about a lady who caught his eye and he is enamoured by her beauty and charm. His vocals are commanding and remind me of the UK singer Lemar but it’s still distinctly unique and the melodies are alluring from start to finish.
Bolivia-based Oakland raised emcee S.Crow and L.A-based producer Dane Diamond team up for “Amarga Dulce,” an uplifting anthem about the duality of life. Over a thumping drum break, cinematic flutes and strings, S.Crow delivers a masterclass in storytelling as he reminds us of the essence of living by embracing the good, bad, ups and downs and most importantly making the best out of the situation.
SAFRON BEATS and underground rap wonder Halfcut drop this single “Stack It Up” to keep fans locked in. The jazz-infused boombap soundscape is reminiscent of 90s Gangstarr with a modern flair and sees Halfcut in his element.
J Nolan returns to our site with “Family Over Fame Freestyle,” a reflective/bravado infused track that explores the concept of one’s true purpose as opposed to chasing material things. The beat has an ethereal and cloudy vibe but the lyrics are quite insightful and his expressive flow is on point.
Argentine Singer/songwriter Camily shares new single “Seda en mi piel” and it caught our ears. The track has a dark R&B vibe with its downtempo groove underpinned by sultry melodic runs.
Emerging songwriter/rapper/music producer Zehbrah drops their new release “Last Bastion” which showcases a blend of engaging soundscape and rugged flows. The urgency is punctuated with his commanding flow and vivid storytelling.
HollaHard takes us to the “Next Level” in his new release. The vivid lyricism is bolstered by a dark piano-laden backdrop and details the inner workings of the rough streets.
Australian-Bangladeshi recording artist Saif drops “The Devil Wears Prada” in time and it surely cuaght our attention. Backed by a dark cinematic backdrop, the emcee reflects on his multi-national roots and the modern day drama that keeps life running.
Rising UK artist Wappa‘s “Buy Freedom” is a heartfelt and reflective track that looks at the craziness of life and the never ending grind. From battling inner demons to coping with loss and grief, Wappa pours his all on wax for listeners to feel.
Cape Town, South Africa-based rapper Luukhanyo caught our attention with his new single “Venture.” The track is a heartfelt and reflective piece that gives listeners a glimpse into his life in South Africa. His style is a seamles sblend of soft melodies with vivid storytelling and engaging rhyme schemes.
Rising singer/songwriter Yaielle Golden is back with her brand new single “Run Me Dry.” The solemn ballad comprises lush keys, soft pads and her raw vocals that cut through the mix like hot knife through butter.
OG Canadian rapper Classik and producer Karmawin are working on a joint project but in the interim, they share the single “My Joker Ways.” The result is a retro jazz/boombap infused track that evokes nostalgia and sees Classik digging into his core being to find true solace away from the white noise.
