For Central Saint Martins graduate Yaku Stapleton, the third London Fashion Week is surely the charm – and an apt full-circle moment. A 2023 album of CSM’s MA program, the designer is once again bringing his namesake label’s latest ready-to-wear range to the London runway, delivering one of his most immersive and impressive sartorial showcases for Spring 2026.

Entitled “A Ground to Stand On,” the enticing new range of armour sees Stapleton continue to build on his boundless and boundary-breaking sartorial world that he’s expanded far beyond just clothes. Stapleton lifts design and conceptual inspiration from his own family, following his cast of characters from last season’s “Tutorial Island” training session into Spring 2026 – this season better equipped with the functional physical features and mental capabilities to defeat a more advance map.

“Our collections follow a family that’s based on my own family,” Stapleton told Vogue in a pre-show conversation. “It’s like a group of characters who are exploring and navigating a limitless world that’s inspired by the online RPG I used to play when I was young—as well as our own human and natural history. It’s a combination of all these influences through the prism of fashion design.”

“They built their own skills to a point that they’re now ready to go and face real-world challenges. They also want to go and see what the wider world has to offer. And I think as a team who has largely been working together for two years, we are ready to take a bigger step forward this time.”
