Summary
On the heels of Stone Island‘s latest, under-the-sea chapter of its adventurous Navigation campaign series, the brand’s maritime subdivision, Stone Island Marina, is diving even deeper into its subaquatic sphere of influence for its Fall/Winter 2025 collection.
As conveyed in a press release, Stone Island Marina draws ample inspiration from submarine factories, a subterranean source of both creative and design influence.
For the recent Navigation visual, the brand’s insignia was dropped down to the ocean floor, resting on the sand as sharks circled.
Now, the brand is taking a less literal approach for its Fall/Winter 2025 foray, tapping DIY-artist Chokkan to don the centerfold piece as part of the “Community as a form of research” visual.
Chokkan dons the 6100025 Ratteen Wool Poly Fleece in a bright pink colorway. The silhouette – crafted from ratteen wool-polyester and lined with mesh – takes the shape of a half-zip sweatshirt complete with a hidden hood on the backside and pocketing on the chest. Zip-fastening at the neck, contrasting trim at the cuffs, and a drawcord at the hem clean up the oversized fit.
Fall/Winter 2025 sees Stone Island Marina continue to lean into the amalgamation of the tactical and the fashionable. Another standout piece is the knit hooded jacket, which the brand transformed into a fully functional outerwear offering by way of combining its heat-bonded coated wool outer with an inner layer of cotton jersey.
Other notable collection garments include the hooded anorak shell, which includes fully taped seams, the wool jacket equipped with both a scuba collar and removable scuba hood, and a down-filled cotton-nylon puffer jacket finished off with an aluminum buckle inspired by military safety vests.
