Summary

  • Earl Sweatshirt appears to be rolling out a new album entitled Live Laugh Love
  • While the rapper wasn’t actually present at the event, a stand-in “fake” Earl performed a handful of tracks from the supposed album
  • Donald Glover, Vince Staples, The Alchemist, and more all contributed to a zine that was handed out on-site

It seems Earl Sweatshirt is gearing up for his next long-form release. With a mysterious listening party for a project called Live Laugh Love going down in Los Angeles over the weekend, the project’s release might be sooner than we think…

Per Pigeons and Planes, the listening party wasn’t a typical one – the rapper wasn’t even present at the event. Rather, a fake “Earl” stand-in performed the new tracks from the presumed album.

On site at the event, guests – including Zack Fox, who captured the event on camera – were gifted a zine with contributions from Donald Glover, The Alchemist, Vince Staples, BKTHERULA, and Dave Chappelle, among others. The list of zine contributors is lengthy, though its not confirmed that these artists are actually contributing to the Live Laugh Love album.

Should Live Laugh Love materialize, the project will mark Sweatshirt’s first since Voir Dire, his acclaimed collab tape with Alc, and his first solo project since 2022’s SICK!

While the rapper himself still hasn’t spoken on the project, stay tuned as more info surfaces on Live Laugh Love.
