Summary
Bentley Mulliner has unveiled the first production Batur Convertible, a striking one-off grand tourer that showcases the pinnacle of bespoke craftsmanship and personalization. Finished in a shimmering Opalite exterior with a Beluga gloss racing stripe bordered by Mandarin pinstripes, the car blends classic sports racing aesthetics with modern performance cues. Powered by a 730 hp twin-turbo W12 engine, the Batur Convertible is now the most powerful open-top grand tourer in Bentley history. The grille and wheels echo the car’s dramatic style with Beluga and Mandarin accents, reinforcing its bold presence.
Inside, the “One plus One” layout creates visual separation between the driver and passenger. The cockpit side features Beluga hide with Mandarin and Linen accents, while the passenger seat contrasts in Linen with Mandarin stitching. The theme continues through to the luggage area and even the bespoke matching key cases. Titanium detailing throughout — on the gear paddles, steering wheel accents and air vent controls — underscores the car’s attention to craftsmanship. This Batur Convertible is the third in Mulliner’s Coachbuilt series, following the Bacalar and Batur coupé and each unit is co-created with clients via a custom visualiser tool. Fans can expect to see the new engine on display during this year’s Monterey Car Week.
