Anjunadeep Launches New Label For Next-Gen Talent, Anjunadeep Explorations

Anjunadeep has launched Anjunadeep Explorations, a new imprint “focused on unearthing the next generation of Anjuna talent.”

Devoted Anjuna fans will no doubt recognize the eponymous “Explorations” name taken from Anjunadeep’s renowned compilation series and the brand’s week-long beachfront event series in Albania, which have introduced fans to label mainstays like Ben Böhmer, Marsh, Luttrell, and more.

Now, that same spirit of exploration will have its own designated outlet within Anjunadeep, the deeper, more melodic arm of Above & Beyond’s famous family of labels, launched in 2005.

“After eight years and 25 Explorations EP compilations, we’re delighted to welcome a new era for Explorations—a whole new label, focused on unearthing the next generation of Anjuna talent, and welcoming a new wave of acts to the roster,” the label wrote on Instagram yesterday.

Anjunadeep will christen the new imprint by releasing a limited run of vinyl label samplers, giving fans a taste of what’s to come on Explorations with six tracks from next-gen stars like Chris Luno, Omfeel, LAR, Mona Vale, Klur, and Marley Carroll. Individual single releases will follow after the vinyl sampler arrives on July 12.

With the rollout of Explorations, the Anjuna family of labels now comprises four total imprints, following the 2022 launch of Anjunadeep Reflections, a home for ambient and downtempo releases, and of course, Above & Beyond’s seminal trance label, Anjunabeats, which has been pumping out premier dance tunes for nearly 25 years.
