Rising London-based R&B/pop singer Taura Lamb’s latest release, “straighten my curls,” is the last installment in her ongoing four-part Moods project. The single is a bright summer pop/R&B infused tune that captures raw, unbridled happiness and the power of self-love. Produced by Ewan Vickery and OllieMorley, who lace Lamb with a rich, summer-tinged soundscape brimming with lush keys, plucky licks and a solid groove, audiences are thrown into the mix of the action with Lamb in the lead. Armed with her commanding and sultry vocal tone and expressive melodic runs, Lamb details the euphoria of straightening her curls and the joys of loving oneself.
