Toronto-based electronic producer Aliiias is set to release his latest single ‘Easy’, showcasing the delicate balance between technical prowess and intimate emotion that defines his music. The track features rich horn samples, chopped and morphed into hurried solos, laying foundations for bright and tender vocal samples and warm piano accompaniment. As a pumping kick drum infuses the music with a lilting, woozy attitude through side-chain dilations, warped bass lines spiral the R&B romance, a final radiating individuality before the final vocal decays.

“This song is about loving someone that you’ll never be able to love in person again,” Aliiias explains, continuing “It’s about watching a long-term relationship rust and dissolve through your very fingers. Ultimately I could sit around and mope about it for years, but as always putting these emotions into this track (music in general) made something meaningful for me, and hopefully others going through similar situations of heartbreak can resonate with it.”
The Canadian performer has built renown around his dynamic fusion of trap and future bass, taking an inventive approach to music creation. Growing up just outside of the thriving metropolis he now calls home, Aliiias artist incorporated video editing concepts of layering to his production style, immediately giving his sound a unique distinction.
