Summary
A24 has debuted the official trailer for John Patton Ford’s How To Make A Killing, starring Glen Powell and Margaret Qualley in the lead roles.
The upcoming film sees Powell as Becket Redfellow, a blue-collar worker who was disowned at birth by his “obscenely wealthy family.” Becket turns to extreme means to get his inheritance back, stopping at nothing to become the sole inheritor. He also reconnects with an old friend (Qualley) who warns him that the Redfellows are dropping like flies, but seemingly suggests that she’s aware of who’s behind it.
Joining Powell and Qualley in the main cast are Jessica Henwick, Bill Camp, Zach Woods, Topher Grace and Ed Harris.
The film is loosely based on 1949’s Kind Hearts and Coronets from Robert Hamer, which is also loosely based on Roy Horniman’s 1907 novel Israel Rank: The Autobiography of a Criminal.
